David Mamet’s assertion that “I’m really not interested in making the same movie twice” surprised me. The detailed analysis he gives of Mike Terry’s motivation applies directly to “My Name Ain’t Bobby” Scott and, morally reversed, to Joe “Love of Gold” Moore as well. Granted, they’re all “different worlds”, but come on….
